Varsity boys, girls and J.V. boys basketball teams are gearing up for their first games The season runs from the middle of November to February 8th.
The Thunder boys soccer team finished their season off with 4th place in the tournament. They had some exciting close games! Making the All-league 1st team was Shayne Jensen, and the 2nd team Patrick O’Shea and Jimmy Soderberg. Great job boys!
The Thunder girls varsity volleyball team took 5th place in tournament. They heading in at 6th seed. They lost to 3rd place CHS, then beat GPA sending them on to play the Oaks to get into the 3rd place match. They lost to the Oaks but then came back and beat CHS for 5th place. Great season girls. Making the All-League 2nd team was Carly Johnson and making Honorable Mention was Taryn Osman.
The Thunder JV team took 4th place in tournament after some great games! Awesome season girls!
Kootenai Thunder Sports Inc., established in 2008, is a program where children in grades 5-12 have the opportunity to play in organized sports together with Christian schools in the Inland Northwest. We are mostly homeschooled kids, but do have some public- and private-schooled kids who participate. Our goal is to foster good sportsmanship and Christlike character while enjoying healthy competition and a common love of sports. We are members of the Mountain Christian League and currently offer Varsity soccer for boys, Junior, JV and Varsity volleyball for girls, and Junior and Varsity basketball for boys and girls.
